SOLVENT EXTRACTION PROCESS
It is the module used in the final finishing phase in the '' Mineral Waste Oil Re-refinery Facilities''. Water, light hydrocarbons and asphalt are separated from the mineral waste oil by distillation method. After these processes, mineral oil is produced, but there are pollutants that cannot be separated by distillation method. With the Advanced Selective Purification Technology, liquid-liquid extraction with polar solvent content such as N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidine (NMP) is carried out to separate polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and heteroatomic compounds.

After the "Solvent Extraction Process", which is used as a final treatment in the mineral waste oil re-refinery facilities, base oil is produced in accordance with the standards. However, in general, the suitability of the pre-finishing process equipment is also important. Even if the oil that cannot be distilled of sufficient quality goes through the last treatment, base oil cannot be produced in accordance with the standards.
